Dynamic User Equilibria in Tra c Simulation

چکیده
We present an iterative algorithm to determine the dynamic user equilibrium for link costs given by a traac simulation model. Each driver's route choice is modelled by a discrete probability distribution which is used to select a route in the simulation. After each simulation run, the probability distribution is adapted to minimize the perceived costs. As an example application, a dynamic version of Braess's paradox is studied.

ÐIn this paper, the Dynamic Trac Routing problem is de®ned as the real-time point diversion of trac during non-recurrent congestion. This dynamic trac routing problem is then formulated as a feedback control problem that determines the time-dependent split parameters at the diversion point for routing the incoming trac ̄ow onto the alternate routes in order to achieve a user-equilibrium tra...
متن کاملSurfactant Effects on Tautomeric and Microscopic Equilibria of Tryptophan: Experimental and Theoretical Studies
Surfactant molecules are used as interesting tools to study the structure, function and stability of proteins. Protonation states of amino acids may be changed in the presence of surfactants. In this work, using experimental observations and molecular dynamic simulation, the effects of sodium dodecyl sulfate on the acid dissociation constants of tryptophan was examined. The acid–base equilibriu...

متن کاملA Three-level Control Architecture for Autonomous Vehicle Driving in a Dynamic and Uncertain Traffic Environment
This paper proposes a novel control architecture for autonomous vehicle driving in a dynamic and uncertain tra c environment. The architecture is composed of three levels: (1) the operational level deals with a reactive control of a vehicle in a short time cycle; (2) the tactical level decides proper maneuvers based on prediction of future states using probabilistic trafc models; (3) the meta-t...
متن کاملQoS based Integration of IP and ATM: Resource Renegotiation
The dynamic and e cient usage of the resources is one of the fundamental aspects studied in the DIANA project [1]: at rst the tra c speci cation should re ects the real tra c demand, but, at the same time, optimise the resources requested. In applications, which uses RSVP, this can be reached with the introduction of the RVBR Service described in [2], which is based on the renegotiation of the ...
